The harm of self-admiration

Do not allow self-admiration to enter your heart over any achievement. Self-admiration is such a destructive sin that even in the presence of Rasulullah (sallallahu ʿalaihi wasallam), at the Battle of Hunain, it caused the Muslims to suffer difficulty.
